A Margate man suspected of abducting, raping and beating a Coral Springs
woman has been arrested at the North Florida Fair in Tallahassee, police said.
Jonathan Thomas Allen, 28, was booked into the Leon County Sheriff's Office jail
after he was arrested Wednesday evening on unrelated charges, said Tallahassee
police spokesman David McCrainie.Allen is suspected of entering a home in the
4900 block of Riverside Drive, abducting a 61-year-old woman and sexually
assaulting her several times Tuesday, Coral Springs police Sgt. Joe McHugh said.
He is accused of also choking the woman and forcing her to withdraw money from
two automatic teller machines before he released her.
Allen is charged with attempted first-degree murder, multiple counts of sexual battery,
burglary to an occupied dwelling, kidnapping and felony battery.
+this is just plain out sick. Send him to prison with a rope-soap.
