It seems as if there is a little/big dilemma going on in
the music industry. I'm from a small city in South Florida,
a place where 8 out of every 10 guys between the ages of 16 and 25
are aspiring rappers. [FYI Ashley Outrageous; everyone raps]
don't get me wrong, that's not the problem, I have no problem
with people following there dreams or in this case following the money,
&& that is regardless if they are wack or not. What I find
to be a problem is established rappers that are far and beyond
there time retiring early. Since when did rappers release 2-3 albums
then call it quits. [clears throat] ie: Lupe Fiasco.
Scarface is on his 9th album, LLcoolJ dropped his 13th,
Jayz is around 11 or 12. Maybe even more. I just don't want the
hip hop industry to go to the point where the good ones come and
go as fast as the wack ones.. Its just a shame !!!
+ currently listening to Lupe Fiasco Farenheit 1/15
- could ya'll imagine jayz retiring after Life & Times of S.Carter
