Floridians will see more of the same nonstop presidential
politicking on Sunday, though it will include a lot of music from
recording artists who support one or the other candidate.
McCain will be at the BankUnited Center on the University of Miami
campus for his last Florida stop before Election Day. Musicians Albita,
Continental Brass, Carlos Oliva y los Sobrinos del Juez and
Javier Romero are scheduled to appear at the 7:30 p.m. event.
Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden and his wife, Jill,
will be on a whirlwind tour of college campuses -- Florida State
University, the University of Florida and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical
University in Daytona Beach.
A collection of rap stars will appear Sunday on Obama's behalf in
Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Mary J. Blige, Shawn ''JAY-Z'' Carter and
Sean ''Diddy'' Combs will hold a ''Last Chance for Change'' rally
at 1:15 p.m. at War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale and then
at 3:15 p.m. at Harry T. Moore Memorial Baseball Field at Florida
Memorial University in Miami Gardens. source
